Yes. Expect mild redness and minor sensitivity for a few hours to days, similar to a sunburn. The healing process includes slight flaking in the first week, followed by dryness in the second week, and a noticeable glow by the third week.
How many sessions are required?
Three sessions for optimal results, but single sessions are available for spot treatments!
When to expect results?
Some reduction in visible redness and vessel appearance may be noticed within 1–2 weeks; optimal results typically develop over several months with proper skincare and sun protection.

How EXION ClearRF Works
EXION ClearRF is a superficial skin-rejuvenation treatment that utilizes AI-driven microablative RF (radiofrequency) energy to gently resurface the skin, improve texture, and specifically target redness, red spots, and broken capillaries. Using 64 pins in our handpiece, combined with controlled RF energy, we lightly treat the outer skin layer by exposing it to therapeutic heat. This advanced technology delivers precise vascular-focused treatment without excessive heat or irritation, making it an excellent alternative to laser options for calming redness and reducing visible capillaries. It initiates a natural healing response and supports epidermal (outermost layer) restoration for clearer, more evenly toned skin.
Radiofrequency Function
Unlike deep RF microneedling that penetrates the dermis, EXION ClearRF focuses on the skin’s surface, where redness and broken capillaries are most visible. The controlled RF energy:

Important Note About Rosacea

Our providers at Juniper carefully evaluate each client’s skin to ensure the treatment is safe, effective, and comfortable. Complimentary Consultation
Enjoy a complimentary consultation with one of our expert staff members to learn exactly how ClearRF can benefit you and your skin concerns. Have all questions answered prior to scheduling your three, 20-35 minute EXION ClearRF treatments (one every 4-5 weeks) with Juniper. We’ll also provide you with numbing ointment that we’ll have you apply to your skin 30 minutes prior to your first appointment with us.

EXION ClearRF Treatment
At your first Clear RF treatment in Bozeman treatment, we’ll prep your skin by thoroughly cleaning the treatment area. You will be completely numb at this point. We’ll answer any remaining questions and go over expectations with you before starting. We’ll complete the treatment at your pace but please know that this treatment is less painful than our RF Microneedling treatment. Some clients report that the treatment feels ‘snappy,’ but with the numbing ointment used, it should be very tolerable. After the treatment, we will apply complimentary ZO SKIN HEALTH Growth Factor Serum to replenish and rejuvenate the dermis. Your skin will look thoroughly pink and will feel warm/hot – similar to a sunburn. The redness and heat may climb in the next handful of hours but will eventually break, and your skin will start cooling down throughout the next 24 hours. We will go over post-treatment instructions with you so you’ll know how to properly take care of your skin while you heal.
Duration: Treatments typically take 30-45 minutes.
Post-Treatment: Expect mild/moderate redness for a few to several hours initially after the treatment. Many clients will remain mildy pink for 24-48 hours, followed by minor flaking as your skin renews itself.

Your EXION ClearRF Results
Results are progressive, with skin improvements seen within the first two weeks. A series of three treatments spaced 4-5 weeks apart yields the best results. Final results peak around three months post-treatment, revealing less hyperpigmentation and redness, along with a more bright and even-toned glow.
