RF Microneedling Treatment

- Is RF Microneedling painful? Will I bruise?

With topical numbing, clients can expect pain levels to be between a 2-4/10. Without numbing, clients can expect the pain level to be a 5-6/10. Although bruising is possible, it is very minimal.

They include: Discontinue any retinoids or products that make skin sensitive 2 weeks prior to starting treatment. Discontinue any anti-histamine medications or supplements (Allegra, Benadryl, Claritin, Zyrtec, etc.) 1 week prior to starting treatment. Discontinue any self-tanners and tanning beds 2 weeks prior to treatment. Remove all jewelry from area. Treatment should be free from any hair. Come to appointment makeup free. Apply your numbing cream 30 minutes prior to the start of your appointment.
- What are the post-treatment instructions after my RF Microneedling session?

They include: You may experience redness, swelling, and mild discomfort immediately following the treatment, which typically subsides within a few hours to 1-2 days. Avoid direct contact with animals to treated area for 48 hours. Avoid sun exposure for several days after treatment. Avoid any skin irritants in the area like perfumes, jewelry, retinols, etc. Make-up may be applied 24-48 hours after therapy. Use gentle products to clean the skin such as Cetaphil. After 24 hours, you can use regular soap but no scrubs or exfoliants. Refrain from using any anti-histamines while completing your treatment(s) (Allegra, Benadryl, Claritin, Zyrtec, etc.). Can repeat treatment once skin is completely healed, 1-6 weeks later.
